Thomas Michael Joseph McCartan - Bass, Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin, Accordian, Good Looks.

Tom, who was with Flatfoot from Day 1, just plain outgrew Lansing. He's in NYC pursuing his theater dreams. We miss him terribly, and wish him nothing but the best. His bio is complete crap, but here is an abridged sample:
Thom was born and grew up in Flint, Michigan amid the poverty that ensued after the GM auto plant packed up and left. Doing poorly in school and already having a criminal record by age thirteen, he looked to music as his one salvation. His parents, poor immigrants who fled to America to escape persecution, were unable to afford any kind of musical instrument for young Thomas. Determined to learn the art of music, Thom would stay after school in the music room, practicing on an old out-of-tune piano accompanying himself on a harmonica with a blown reed. He taught himself music theory in that room but his innate music style was not something that could be taught.
